Changchun Yatai’s £20m bid for Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo has been accepted by the Hornets after an earlier bid of £15m was rejected.
SunSports say the Hornets decided to cash in on the misfiring forward as he prepares to venture to the moneybags Chinese Super League days before the winter transfer Deadline Day.
Earlier this month a possible move to West Brom fell through after the Baggies failed to agree on a fee for the 27-year-old.
Three other Premier League clubs were also said to be after Ighalo, who was left out of the FA Cup loss at Millwall.
Ighalo who has only managed to score one Premier League goal this season in comparison to last year when he bagged an impressive 17 will now become the second Nigerian international to move to the far East in the January transfer window following John Obi Mikel’s exit from Chelsea.
