Nicki Minaj has come under fire on social media, as new footage of her latest music video features footage of Westminster Bridge – the scene of the recent terror attack.
On Wednesday, the rapping superstar took to Twitter to unveil the final cut of the anticipated clip for her new track No Frauds – but was met with resistance from a number of fans who were stunned that she left the London landmark in the scenes.
One fan wrote to Nicki – who shot the footage just days before Khalid Masood drove a car into pedestrians before storming the Houses of Parliament: ‘I thought Nicki Minaj was editing out those shots of Westminster Bridge.’

Slammed? Nicki Minaj has faced criticism for her music video for new track No Frauds, which features footage of London’s Westminster Bridge – shot just days before last month’s devastating terror attack
Another seemed to believe that perhaps images of the bridge still wouldn’t make the final cut as they asked: ‘Are you editing the Westminster bridge part out?’
A third user of the micro-blogging site shared a link to the clip, alongside the caption: ‘@NICKIMINAJ by Westminster Bridge in her new vid… too soon?’
Last month, it was reported that Nicki was considering re-shooting the clip following the attack.
London landmark: In the video, the iconic London mark features prominently throughout
Costume: The star is seen wearing an elaborate costume as she raps her way through the track
Unimpressed: A number of fans greeted the clip with shock as they learned the bridge had not been edited out of the final cut
The Sun had previously reported that the footage shot last month was unlikely to make the final edit, with the 34-year-old star feeling it would be inappropriate.
A source told the newspaper: ‘When everybody involved in the project heard the news they were devastated and thought it would be in bad taste to feature it.
‘The other London scenes will remain, but it’s highly doubtful the bridge footage will make the cut.’
However, those doubts appear to have been put aside, as the landmark in question was still included in the video.
Edit: It had previously been reported that Nicki planned to edit the footage out of her video
Bad taste? At the time, it had been said that Nicki’s team believed it might be in bad taste to include the bridge as a part of the footage
Tribute: After the attacks, the star took to Twitter to pay tribute to the victims of the terrorism attack, which led to the deaths of six people
Condolences: She wrote, ‘She wrote: ‘May God protect everyone in London. Hate hearing this sad news. Sending my condolences to the victims’ families’

While shooting her video in London last month, Nicki went all out in the style stakes – combining bling with dominatrix style get-up for the shoot.
Combining a bejewelled headpiece with a rhinestone corset and flowing tulle skirt, she added an edgy pair of biker boots to the look.
